Age distribution
13 human embryos, per-sample post-conceptional week (PCW) values ranging 5.5-13.5 (per EGA sample-level descriptions); the dataset-level description states the range as PCW 5.0-13.0, a minor discrepancy noted here rather than resolved by estimation.
Anatomic location
Whole dissected meninges for most embryos (20 of 24 samples, per EGA sample-level 'Meninges of embryo PCW X.X' descriptions); one embryo (subject_id BRC2301, 4 samples) had meninges subdivided by region: forebrain dorsal, forebrain ventral, midbrain/hindbrain dorsal, and midbrain/hindbrain ventral. Note this is fetal developmental anatomy, not the adult tumor-location vocabulary (convexity/skull_base/etc.) in docs/controlled_vocabulary.md, which does not apply to this specimen type.
